Welcome to The Clinton Township Foundation
for Educational Excellence Website!

The Foundation is a non-profit, grassroots organization whose mission is to  provide unique educational enrichment opportunities for all students in the Clinton Township school district.  The Foundation is operated by a Board of Trustees, working in conjunction with the Board of Education and school district representatives.  The Foundation is committed to funding innovative educational programs, services and material/equipment purchases initiated through grants from teachers and administrators in the Clinton Township school district.  It is important to note that these programs and services would not otherwise be funded through the regular school budget.  In this way, the Foundation truly enhances the education of every student in the Clinton Township school district -- providing enrichment beyond everyday education!

8th graders in Mrs. Pike's and Mrs. Preuss's Social Studies classes are getting to experience history from a different angle.  The "History Alive!" grant enabled these teachers to purchase historical costumes, hats and props for student and teacher use in their lessons.  In class, students and teachers dress up in period costumes to assume the role of the person or people whom they are learning about.  "You walk into class, and never quite know who the teacher is going to be dressed as," giggled one 8th grader at CTMS.  To read more about this grant and the mock constitutional convention recently held during class, click on this link:   History Alive!
SRS Mural and PMG Quilt Grants
The students at Spruce Run and Patrick McGaheran schools recently participated in two innovative art experiences.  Organized by the schools' art educators and in collaboration with the Hunterdon Art Museum, students constructed a mural for SRS and a quilt for PMG.  For more details see the press release in the "Foundation in the News" section of the website.
